According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, refuse and recyclable materials collectors are in the national top 5 civilian occupations with high fatality rates. In addition to sharing safety resources from state and national sources below, WRRA also shares weekly safety messages from partner organizations like the National Waste & Recycling Association and the Solid Waste Association of North America.
